Desmanthus leptolobus TORREY & A.GRAY


Description

        The seeds are arranged end-to-end lengthwise in the fruit and the walls dividing the seeds are perpendicular to the plane of the edge of the fruit.
        Most importantly Desmanthus leptolobus seeds are elongated.
        It is the only Desmanthus species that possesses such elongated seeds.

        Summer is the time to collect seeds.
