KK1670 images

     Peruvian material obtained from Knize in 2000 was peruvianoid not bridgesii as some have inferred from its name.
     More recently Knize has begun listing this as a Ritter named plant. When queried Knize told me that Ritter had told him about this plant over lunch one day during the 1970s. Whatever the reality of that may be, Ritter apparently did not ever feel compelled to publish this name.
     It is an invalid name no matter what it is.
